fine art

You can now own a distinctive piece of art work that brightens and beautifies your home. Most importantly, my art makes you feel good. My current pieces are as small as 11” and as large as 8’ with everything in-between. You can determine the size, colors and style with a commission or choose from a piece that I have already created. You also have the freedom to choose whether to frame the painting behind glass or with quilting, leaving the silk exposed to the open air and closer to the viewer.

My designs are expressionistic and abstract. They have been accepted into juried art shows and displayed in legitimate galleries. You can choose from pieces that are hand painted silks to ones that have been painted, torn and woven into new pieces. I have begun to explore sculpture, combining silk with welded metal or sculpted wire.

My fine art has been shown in venues such as, The Thompson Fine Arts Gallery, The Contemporary, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (MAC), Southside on Lamar Gallery, Trinity River Arts Center, Northpark Mall, and the Dallas Main Library. I won 3rd Place in Abstract at an Irving Art Association show and have been featured in the media several times, most recently in Home and Heritage Magazine and previously in Dallas Arts Revue, WEB Magazine and Dallas Arts Seen.
